They are doing server maintenance on tuesday (not sure how much of a patch it will be, but defenitely actually hardware maintenance) which will bring the servers down but it should be fixed then
And Code mentioned that they have also cured the genral problem so it should not happen again.

July 19, shrooms respawning
It's fixededed. Only one bug left, one of the mushrooms looks like a mushroom, the other one looks like an ugly blood-shot kidney (oh wait, it always looked like that, nm)
Now to not leave the farm until I have 1000 of the suckahs foraged... oh... gotta go to work in half an hour?... *sigh*.
