' vs ` in item names.

Anyone know why? Is it because different people entered them into the database? When I checked alla's, different items have `/'.

Sony has never been very consistant with ` and '. The spell Girdle of Magi'Kot summons Summoned: Girdle of Magi`Kot, and in the tradeskill window the spell is called Girdle of Magi`Kot. All the original refererences(and most today) to Magi`Kot have the ` (although some are entered backwards in Allakhazam).

As far as EQTC goes, we try to keep the item names as accurate as possible compared to what's in game. The flip side of the coin is that just about no-one reports apostrophe errors.

Trust me, Allakhazam can't keep up with the apostrophe errors either, although they do endeavor to be accurate if someone reports a problem.

For the record, both Koada'dal Needle and Imbued Koada`dal Mithril Boots do match EQItems, which gets its info straight from the game (like Lucy), so those are correct. Blame Sony! Or, well, in many cases blame Verant.

Heh, Dandi and I apparently had parallel thoughts. =) I went through a bunch of our items last night verifying the apostrophes. =)
