DoDH Tradeskill Quests

I am a dwaven blacksmith.. I thought that eventually I could make the UBER DoDH type 12 augs for my Grandmaster armour..

My (likely flawed understaning) was that I had to do a series of quests to be able to make these... Have a device made for me by a friendly gnome tinker.. Get a stone ( No Drop) from a DoDH raid mission, then get other parts depending on which aug I want and combine them using my smithy skill..

Well I did parts for Belfast, then more parts for Belfast.. Next I THOUGHT I needed to do the tasks:

Scrindite's Senescent Scribbles
Ambleshift's Anfractuous Album
Poxysmit's Precipitous Parts
Epicthieck's Edification Edition

But when I hailed Belfast to get them I could not.. My faction to him is indifferent.. Please set a confused dwarf on the right track.. Thanks...

The tasks are to get the recipes to make the AAAA and the Holepoker. Not really any reason for a dwarven smith to do them (you need amiable faction iirc to get the tasks btw).
You could do the task from your tradeskill armor quest npc in your hometown to make the seal part of the final combine, that is actually smithed.

There are a series of smithing subcombines (none above trivial 151) that are required to make an AAAA. Most tinkers don't mind doing the tinkering combines for you (albeit at a fee, unless they are a friend) but it has been my experience they prefer for you to have as much done as possible before handing them the 3 and 1/2 bags worth of combines to do.

Here's a tip for you - if you're planning on doing them, look up the "Restock High Quality Ore" quest. You'll need it when you go to buy your parts.
