Using Augmentation items

How do you attach an Augmentation item onto a piece of armor ??
What skills do I need ?
Is there someplace I can read up on Augmentation ??

Putting augmentations in uses no skill check. There are objects that look like square bird baths located in the Ldon camps, guild lobby, guild hall, bazaar, and abysmal sea. Left click on these and you see a window with 2 spots, one side for an item, the other side for an augmentation, just put your stuff in the slots and push the insert button.
As far as a place to read up on stuff like this, the in-game knowledge base is actually fairly complete. Press the 'p' key, and type in your search text, and you can get the answer to most questions.

Where's the birdbath in Guild Lobby?

If I remember correctly, there's one on east & west side, in the rooms closest to Guild Hall.

They are in the NE room, and the SW room (untill yesterday I didn't even realize there was one in the NE room).
