Combining armor and augs for DoN cultural...

Quick question before I spend the plat...

If I buy a >master< DoN armor for my race, and a >GM< aug for my deity and same slot (both chest), I can use that aug on that armor, right? Or is it required to match the aug "level" to the armor "level"?

The tier of the augment does not need to match the armor - as long as you meet the requirements (race/class/level & diety) of both, you're fine.

Which is good... it's unlikely I'll be seeing a full suit of master armor soon (I'm a half elf) but that doesn't hold me back on the augs.

As long as you can use both pieces (race/archtype for armor, god for aug), they can mix and match. Given the scarcity of the gm silk, for example, masters silk plus gm aug works (not that silks gain much of anything with the GM over Masters armor).

I've also successfully combined smithed augments with tailored armor, and vice versa. So that isn't a concern either.
Fire Opals for smithed augs are sooooo much easier on my nerves than drachnid silk for swatches to tailor tham.

Why is that Ky? Is the trivial a much different level? Or do you just mean that the silks are forages vs. vendor bought? If so, and you're on 7th, send me a tell, I sell the drachnid silks by the stack (cheap, too
