Whoopsie. Someone better tell people to start hunting for functional recipes then. =)

Ngreth has stated that Drachnid blood (along with two other DoDH bloods; speculation is wurine and shiliskin blood, I believe) are used for an unreleased fletching recipe that would make bane arrows. However, the bane arrow recipes are disabled pending a code change. Once the code change is in place, the recipes will be enabled.
So in the strict sense, the tradeskill tag is unwarranted, but it's "planned" to have a TS recipe for the bloods.Sir KyrosKrane Sylvanblade

To paraphrase, however, Ngreth also said it will be a cold day in Hell before that code change gets around to being made because of Endless Quiver AA.Roanne LeFaye

From my Fan Faire thread, the code patch is specifically to remove the effect of Endless Quiver on selected arrows.Sir KyrosKrane Sylvanblade

Yeah, that is the code change it is waiting forI just never specified it because I believed rangers would be a bit unhappy about even the thought of such a code change.

From the discussion at the Fan Faire, rangers seemed concerned but also understanding. The few that spoke up at the panels seemed OK with the idea of nifty "trick" arrows, like ones with bane damage or procs or effects, being excluded from EQ, so long as "normal" arrows remain affected.Sir KyrosKrane Sylvanblade

Sidetrack: Baking
Seems every PoR coffee, bread, and piece o' pie item has a
"this item can be used in tradeskills" tag.
Now that the Challenge is solved (I assume this was to mask components), can we get a removal?
If I'm incorrect, and these do have a combine.. I don't believe there has been any lore (books, groundspawn notes) in game about coffee n pie combos.Hangovr Regrets

Utildiin begins to cast Thread Resurrection.
The post springs from death before your eyes!
Is there a reason for the 2 year bump, on a change about an ancient alchemy revamp, to voice an already overused complaint about having to keep informed about upcoming changes? (*gasp*, the horrors of reading a few headlines every now and then)
Please tell me, which change are you complaining about this time?Last edited by melkorr; 01-13-2008, 01:22 AM.Woot!! Master Artisan as of 1-19-08
