  • The new tradeskill evolving items.

I did a search for 'focus stacking' to find out if the new evolving bags will stack with the geerloks. I am not expecting them to do so, however the only post returned, had a confirmation date of 2004 ... saying they would not.

    Has this changed?

PS - Newbie tradeskiller here: Can we do *ANY* combines in the new bags for that particular tradeskill? ie. Can I do the ogre cultural armor combines in the tropy bag?

No it has not changed....did you realy expect that an item with (eventually) a 15% skill mod would stack with anything else to give you up to 20%?

Didn't know what to expect, as I am new to tradeskilling, and there are spell foci that improve things up to 30% in some cases ...

If it has a % increase, it won't stack.
If it has a + increase, it generally will stack.

Those are general rules for about everything in EQ.

        Examples:

Geerlok with 5% mod and trophy with 15% mod, will not stack.
A piece of armor with +5 avoidance and an aug with +5 avoidance will stack. The cap is 100.

This is a nice site that explains different effects and shows their caps.

Just a side note. The bags summoned by the trophies are not tradeskill containers. They're just ordinary bags for storing things.
