  • PoR Trophy Advancement

    Hello All,
Myname is Jericanna a lvl 70 druid of tunare on the BB server, I am maxed AA and maxed in all tradeskills at 300 (except alchemy, poison making and tinkering as my class and race do not allow). I have so far completed the Smithing,Tailoring,Fletching, and Baking Masters Trophies and have a question as to how the trophies advance from level 6 to level 7 ....
with max skill of 300 in smithing for example and having the trophy equipped gives me a Mod of 336. Do I have to do combines above a 336 level for this to evolve? or combines over the base of 300? If i must do combines over a 336 trivial this will take like FOREVER to evolve and i will be very disappointed as to doing all the work involved in doing the trophies in the first place. I know im one of an select few who have endured countless hours to perfect my crafts and id like to know exactly how these trophies work. any input would be greatly appreciated Thankyou in advance, Jeri

Just combines with a Trivial over your actual skill. The higher the trivial, the faster your Trophy will evolve.

The trophy looks at your raw skill when determining whether it gains experience to evolve. There is a top end limit as well of 350. That is, any combine whose trivial is 350 or higher, will only give experience equal to 350. The trivial of the combine is the amount of experience the trophy gains. Also, Ngreth designed them based on the difficulty to obtain materials for those combines. Fletching and tailoring take fewer combines to evolve, ie. less experience is needed to evolve. There is a couple other threads in this forum as well as in some of the individual tradeskill forums where people are posting experience data on the trophy and rates of progression.

      GLuck with your trophies.

I remember reading in an earlier thread that your trophy could gain skill if you were doing combines within 100 either way of your current skill level. From what I'm reading on this thread, it is being said that you can only gain skill from items above your current skill level.

Which is correct? If the latter then it is going to be a royal pain finding things to make for brewing 300 to advance my trophy that are not going to cost me an arm, a leg and my tail.

As far as I know, above your skill. If its trivial, neither you nor your trophy can learn anything from it.

Make a mule and farmed Kaladim Constitutional sumbcombines at kaladim farm... Then transfer through shared bank and it's about 9 plat a combine . Less that 10k from Level 6-7!

The trophys will not evolve when doing trivial combines. It has to be higher than your unmodified skill.

The 100 skill comment was your skill + 100 = max triv you can get exp from.

So if you had 50 skill, got the lvl 1 trophy and started doing 300 triv combines, your trophy would not gain exp. You could however do 150 triv combines.
