  • Trophy & Bag Recap / Overview

We have a task to complete for an Expert (250 - 300) baking trophy. One of the requirements is to make one of the previous baking trophies. As soon as that is made, we will make a temporary bag and have it made permanent - a lore, generic 100% weight reduction 10 slot giant capacity container. Then when we complete the task, getting the new trophy, we will follow the procedure to get the Baker's version of the bag.

Stopping narrative here and asking for confirmation of these procedures.

As more combines are done, my skill and the trophy advance. I get to 300 and the trophy gets to stage 6. Then, as more combines are done, but no other task, I stay at 300 and the trophy advances slowly to stage 7.

Stopping narrative here and asking for confirmation of these procedures.

If I am correct, tasks begun at a skill level lower than 250 will not be making a trophy as part of the task. So players beginning all tasks then would not have the chance to obtain the generic bag as part of the skilling process unless a separate trophy is made apart from the tasks.

Do I have a correct picture of the tasks?

Correct. You get a beginners trophy and a certificate that shows your tier based on skill. The certificate brings the trophy in line with your current tier. Then, as you continue your skill ups to 300, the trophy works as well. You can reach 300 BEFORE your trophy reaches 6, but the trophy will kick into overdrive to catch up.

After you create a trophy, and set its skill based on the certificate, you do not have any more quests, you just have to do combines to evolve it. You stay at 300 and work up to level 7 trophy. After you complete the new trophy, you could always go back, make ANY old trophy, and get that generic 100% red 10 slot bag.

Any chance of those no rent bags becoming permanent? I'd love to keep my crafting supplies in the appropriate bag in the new bank slots!

        Temporary Bags --> Permanent

I think I read that if (accidantally) you camp out with a temporary bag holding some items, that bag becomes permanent but has a huge weight. But, it may meet your needs in the bank. I am wondering, though, if it is a temporary Baker's bag or just a temporary bag.

No rent bags with nothing in them poof. No rent bags with contents turn into disenchanted backpacks of varying sizes (depending on how many slots the original had.) These have no WR and weigh a lot themselves (25 wgt?)

You can turn summoned bags into Jolum in the bazaar to get permanent versions. They are lore, but you can have one for each skill / tier.

Youy can make those a permanet 100% bags. Just hand the no rent bag to Jolum (sp?) in Bazaar (room north of PoK zone). The old generic bag will become permanet right away. With the new bags you will get an item you need to combine in the proper tradeskill container to make a permanet bags.

Best part is you can have 1 old style bag and as many new style (1 per trophy) as you can handle. Up to 10 is possible with 1 old bag, 7 basic TS, tinker, and spell research.

Does this potentially mean a large number of different WR bags, if you do the Jolum quest at each stage of your trade tradeskill quests?

No. Ngreth has stated that they are LORE within each skill group (meaning that you can only have 1 of the new Tailoring Trophy bags, period...one of the new Smithing Trophy bags, etc...not just one of each name.) In order to make the higher WR one when your trophy evolves, you'll first have to destroy the lesser one.

So, you can have only one of the following at a time:
                  Master Tailor Carry-All
                  Expert Tailor Carry-All
                  Journeyman Tailor Carry-All
                  ...

But you can have ALL of the following at the same time:
                  Master Tailor Carry-All
                  Master Baker Carry-All
                  Master Brewer Carry-All
                  ...
