New Freeport... Where IS everyone?

To get things started, I went and found (the hard way, thank tunare im a ranger) Zasrin and Lysa, the girls who sell the all important bat wings, bat fur, etc.

To get to the first floor, you have to walk onto one of the four little teleporter things (kinda reminds me of erudin).

The girls are 4 floors up, right beside each other. For the sake of being technical;

Zasrin Blueflame -212, -954, +140 West Freeport (Arcane Tower)
Lysa Truegreen -226, -948, +140 West Freeport (Arcane Tower)

The new Freeport is quite nice-looking actually ... but, man is it huge.

And there's far too many walls with no way over/under/thru. The town needs more pass-thru's and signs giving directions. A real newcomer to EQ would be one lost puppy in that town.

And with that butt-ugly, glaringly-colored map (that they still will not let us change for some unknown reason) ... it's hard to figure out where you're going unless you zoom in on top of yourself.

The unknown reason is this. The map file should have been base, since it was produced by SOE. However, it is flagged as Type 1. You can make changes if you manually copy them over to Type 2 before repatching.
