Can I ask how the stones are in your guild bank if they are no-drop/no-trade items?

Exactly, they are tradeable on FV. Even the final augs are not no-drop. The reason why I posted this was to just to say that we are having trouble even giving away the lower stones within the guild, given the fact that they need the AAAA which is used up in the combine.

          Or, me.

I 100% agree the effects are not the best, but they are hands down better than any other aug that you can buy for that slot - and cheaper.
Heh, I was a bit hasty there. Yes time foci for those who are not in time-raiding guilds are certainly nice, but I'd rather join a guild than pay 18k to 200k per for each, assuming I could even get ahold of the base stone to begin with, which I don't think you can really unless you're past the point of having it be useful.

That's my big issue with these augs. Chronal is dropping off a mob that is not only a pretty bad arse..... he's pretty much perma killed on my server. He sure does have a pretty fast respawn, but he's usually dead before raid time rolls around, same with Colossus.

And then you have the issue of, does a Chronal + choseable effect + a piece of GM + 20k-200kpp = the gear Zomm drops? Not quite. The focus's are time level focus, but how many time level guilds will be killing Zomm? Let alone, being able to kill them enough to outfit enough people with it to really matter. Zomm will be perma killed for one reason and one reason alone, the raid task for the Black Orb of the Scrykin.

Then, look at Korlach, imho, an easier event, but takes longer to get to. But there is -0- competition for him, and his gear is right on par with Zomm, but he drops a better aug. /boggle

I still think Discordant should drop from these smaller raids (Zomm would be good). Make Chronal drop from raidish mobs like Colossus in Arctsone, Ritesmaster Verok in Ruins of Ilsalin, etc etc. Also make chronals a completely random / rare drop off any level 65 heck even 70+ mob in DoDh/PoR. This allows anyone who would actually use the darn things to have a remote chance of obtaining them, and make them really rare for all I care, we're talking drop rate of a Discordant Scoriae in OoW.

That's typical of developers not actually playing the game at that level or under the same rules (reminds me of the: "No, alchemy is not broken" way back or the coarse spider silk drops...). Either they're non raiding tradeskillers in awe at the thought of getting that or in high level guilds for whom spending 200k to get the aaaa and kill that "push over" mob sounds easy, not that they could be bothered to do it, but... While for us at a level where chronal would make sense, the cost and effort makes it ridiculous...
