Expert Baker Trophy

I just started the Expert Baker's Trophy task... and much to my dismay, I notice one little _VERY_ annoying detail on the list:

Create 1 Grandmaster Baker's Spoon using tradeskills

Last I checked, my spoon is lore, meaning that I can't make another unless I destroy this one... shudder

Is it possible to turn in my spoon to the Event Coordinator, and have her give me credit for it, and return my spoon? I would be remiss to lack this fine little spoon... it took me quite a while of killing in higher end zones to get all the gems the first time.

Yes, if you read the text of the task, in the bottom...

You show your trophy to the coordinator, and she marks it off as being made. Then, for step 2, you turn the trophy in to the judge. You will eventually lose the original trophy, so I'd wait to hand it in until the last step if I was you.

Another question: will this trophy's stats take effect while in the ammo slot? My baker's spoon doesn't have any effect while I have it in ammo, even though it's equippable in ammo.

Stats, no...mod, yes. Just like the old trophies.
