Expert artisian satchel issue.

Looking at the stats for the new bags something struk me.

The expert artisian bags are 75% weight reduction. However to make it you give up your old trophy which summons 100% reduction bags.

Is this obeservation correct or have i missed something?

maybe because you can have one of the 'old 100%' ones but you can get 7 of these 'New 75%' ones.....

I am discussing the sumonable bags, not the permanent one. The summonable ones have never been lore, so you can summon as many as you need.

The new permant bags are great, and I assume you can still get the permanent bag from you old style trophy before using it to get a new one, so thats not the issue.

As for getting 7 new ones, that still requires you to spend 18 AA points and level 6 more skills. Not everyone do more that one skill.

I have a somewhat different problem. I used my Master Toxicologist Trophy (6/7, 25%) to summon a Master Artisan Satchel and turned that in to Jolum and I didn't even get a bag back. All I got was a Master Artisan Essence which is apparently used for an alchemy combine of some sort.

Don't we get a permanent bag back anymore? And what the heck am I supposed to do with this Master Artisan Essence? I'm a dwarven rogue, not an alchemist.

Put it in your tradeskill container and hit combine. The essence makes a different bag for whatever tradeskill you use it in (if you have the appropriate trophy).

Just to confirm, I can take my expert smith and fletching trophies and do the permanent bag combines now before I level them up with no penalty(i.e. the level 5 trophy bag is equal to the level 7 bag)?

The level 5 bag is only 75% WR, the level 6 and 7 bags are 100% WR. Bags for the same tradeskill are in the same "lore group". What this means is you won't be able to make the level 6+ bag if you currently have a lower level bag for the same tradeskill. The key word is currently, you can just destroy your old permanent bag before you make the higher level bag.
