Heh...yeah, sorry about the whole "7" generalization....Vah Shir Beastlord here, so I don't often think about Alchemy, Tinkering, Poisonmaking, or Research.

Beauty, so the new trophies each allow us to get a unique bag so we can be all stylish with nothing but 100% WR, gotta love that.

One question, though, about the new trophies: They're Primary / Secondary / Range / Ammo equippable...any chance that the ammo slot has been fixed so that items that have, say, a tradeskill mod, grant the modifier while equipped in the ammo slot? Just curious...

      -aye

P.S. Gotta say...this is, by far, the best-looking expansion to date. The port area in EFP is uber sexeh. Too bad the boats are just eye candy.

Hasn't that always been there? (gain the mod skill while in the ammo slot)

ok noobie blonde question about these bags

I have read what I can find here and on other forums and am left with a few questions.

1- at the moment I have my GM jewelry trophy and I need to hand that in if I want the new bag, but as the 'upgrades' seem to go journeyman, freshman, expert and master does this mean if my skill is not 300 I will get the expert trophy and this has only 70% WR summoned bag?

2- If I do go ahead and do the hand in then I do suppose the " ..... Artisan Essense" is also related to the trophy you have so "journeyman Artisan Essense", freshman Artisan Essense" etc.

3- I already have a carry-all from my original GM trophy, will I need to destroy that one before I get my "Artisan Essense"?

4- Or would it be advisable to hold on with getting the Artisan Essense till my trophy has evolved to max?

Ironic, yes...you get the mod in Ammo. You don't get the other stats, but mods do work. They have for as long as I remember.

            1) Yes...but it is an evolving item, so it will eventually be 100% (once it reaches level 6.)

            2) It appears so, yes.

            3) No. You can have the original Carry-All AND all of the new ones.

            4) I see nothing to indicate that you can't repeatedly get the essences. Of course, the final bags are LORE, so you could only have one of each level for each tradeskill. Also, not sure if there is a level 7 version of the bags...we'll see.

There is currently no difference in the level 6 and level 7 bags.

The bags are "lore grouped" within the "skill" so when you level your trophy, you will want to destroy your permanent bag and make a new one (it is free!) I.E. you cannot have an expert mechanist bag and a master mechanist bag, only one.

Yes the expert bag (and stats on the trophy) is a slight downgrade. if it is absolutely vital for you to have TEMP 100% WR bags until you get to the level 6 trophy, then make the old trophy again.

Ohhhh. Perhaps a bit of foreshadowing?

                Ngreth, you're such a tease.

ive made one of the old trophies a long time ago, will she except it if you give it to her? or will i have to remake a whole new one to complete that task?

After getting the new trophy task, hand in the old trophy to the taskgiver (not the judge) and you will get task credit for having made the trophy. The taskgiver will return you your old trophy. Later in the task, you will have to give your old trophy (and all the other items) to the judge. You will not receive any of these items back. SO, have your old trophy be the last item you hand in to the judge to finish the task, or you'll be without a skillmod item.

I guess it will be a while before we see any 7th trophy but atm its hard to bother leveling to them when at 300... 12% vs 15% mod doesn't effect anything. I just hoping for a partical effect or something on them becaus atm the mod is worthless unless PoR has a ton of 435+ trival combines.

Just made a few and all the bags appear to look the same, using the "Rallic" graphic.

I did 5 300+ successes in tailoring and got 1% xp on the trophy, which seem right with 500 combines for level 7.

I am pretty sure it was stated that each trophy will have a different no. of combines to reach level 7, like I could see baking very easily be 1000.

                            edit: changed "combines" to "successes."

                            6 300+ smithing success and still 0%.

Yeah, baking looks to be 1000 combines. I got roughly 1% per 10 combines doing Karana Heartfruit Salads. Ended my run with 32% exp on my trophy.

One question from someone whose server was down until today. When you request the GM trophy quest, do you have to specify you want the GM quest or does the questor know you have the GM skills, i.e. 300 in tradeskills, and give you the right one? Want to start this today and was curious. Thanks in advance.
