OK, I'm asking nicely fron the EQTraders community where you farm for your stuff. I'm tired of reading I farm xxx a stack in an hour yet I can't find that same sweet spot. Am I just out of luck cause I use a druid so I have to go slower as my mana is my main form of DSP? Or people just over exagerating trying to inflate there ego. I currently also use an Ogre Beastlord also but that hasn't seemed to help too much.

Ok, so here is what I know(and it may be incorrect thats why I'm asking)...

Spider Silk ---> East Karana, Actually I can farm this pretty well so no complaints here. I basically mass kill this zone(at/near the hill) as I'm after the HQ Cat Pelts(read below) also.

HQ Cat Pelts ---> East Karana, I get mabye a stack every 3 hour KEI, yet people say there getting 20 an hour. Where are you killing, what are the PH'ers??? I mass slaughter this zone and no luck.

Flawless/Superb Rockhopper Hides ---> I farm DSP and can clear most of the cave with the Beast before repops yet I get mabye 10 Hides an hour(thats Flawless + Superb). Is Scarlet Desert better? And if so what are the PH'ers again.

Acrylia Ore ---> Acrylia Caverns, Again farming near enterence I have no problem collecting this as long as I use the Beastlord....The druid though is a nightmare.

Leather Padding ---> I found doing Santus Seru (off of NL incase I said wrong zone name) is the best place to farm low quality hide off the hoppers(MK anything that moves and isn't on faction to get more hoppers to spawn) and then travelling to the Kitty City and mass killing in the "pit" to be fast and very easy. There is a place in the "pit" that's a "sweet spot" but I don't have exact location(sorry I am breaking my own rule) but once you find it you'll know.

Velium Ore ---> Crystal Caverns and Tower of Frozen Shadow is usually where I go as I wanna kill as fast as possible to get as much Velium as I can carry out. Helps to have master Key in ToFS.

Shissar Scale's ---> SSRA Temple (sorry I would spell full name but there is no way im going to spell correctly with out looking it up). Best place I found was at enterence and there's only a few mobs up there before I expand my kill radius with no luck. Where exactly are you killing at. I get only 2-3 an hour yet people report getting up to 20 an hour.

Crushed Diamond Dust ---> Where is the community farming this. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Shimmering Ukin Hides ---> Best place I found was in Blood Fields(zone off of Dranik Scar, again not sure if correct zone name) Right as you come out of tunnel. Is there a better spot?

GM Armour Material ---> Instanced Version Zones(68+ avg level)...locate other posts on subject.

This is by no means a complete guide or in depth in everything people farm for to get Skill ups. Also if you have answers to mine or others questions about where you farm (and with what class/strategy) for certain material so we as a community can benifit would be appreciated.
Basically where do you go to farm xxx. What Class do you use. Provide level if you think its important. Any Important Strategy(i.e. what ph'ers should you kill, only kill at certain times, ect...), /loc if its importan or general direction/area, or anything else that may be words of wisdom...

Thanks from me and anyone else who may find this information valuable.

p.s. If some one is truly (can't think of the word , lack of sleep is catching up to me ), motivated???, they can make a complete guide to farming using links where convenient so we can have this all in one location and can be updated as needed.

Inner Acrylia > all for Acrylia farming. If you have a tough time at ZI, you may not have an easier time there.... But if you can handle it, DS corner tank a couple/few at a time. Heal Pots makes farming so much easier these days. I have not been there in a few months, but it was by far the best place to go for Acrylia and still get xp. Lots of vendor garbage plus a bonus chance at some decent Baz. loot or Tribute.

Shissar scales are only dropped by the live mobs and most areas of Ssraa have a mix of live and undead mobs.

You get the most chances for scales if you start by clearing the 4 live mobs in the entry room, then go back through the center door and clear the 4 mobs halfway down the hall, then go left at the T intersection and through the door on the right to a room with 8 more live mobs.

If you still have time before the entry room respawns, you can go out the back of that room and all the way right to the room with the tube to the basement. About half of the mobs in this room will have a chance to drop scales.

          Miscellaneous notes:

Marus Seru is the zone you mentioned for hunting hides for leather padding.

There is no good place for farming Crushed Diamond Dust. The best places seem to be Velketor's Labratory (Upper Spiders, Upper and Lower Kobolds) or Wakening Lands (Sentient armor mostly, but Geonid Shamans can also drop them). Rare at best.

Imo, EK is your best bet for HQ cat pelts, but some people like Stonebrunt Mts, there are fewer mobs and they are harder to kill but every one drops some kind of quality pelt.

I second the suggestion for killing tizmaks and converting the velium weapons. It is far and away the fastest way to accumulate velium that I know of.

HQ Cat - I haven't done this in a while, but Stonebrunt was the best place I found. Unless they've changed this, the various cats in the zone drop only quality pelts when they drop anything and it seems like the majority are HQ. With a tracker, it should be a piece of cake. Nedaria's landing is another good place for quality pelts of all kinds including cats.

And... if you do Nedaria's, you might consider going the old fashioned way on Leather Paddings. I don't think anyone has ever taken me up on this suggestion, but I still think the fastest drop rate for spiderling silk FOR A TRACKER is West Karanas. There are very few spiderlings and they are kind of spread out, but they drop silk like the spiders in EK - i.e. up to 6 per spiderling. You can also farm pelts and spider silk while you're there.

Crushed Diamond Dust - who knows? They are so rare that it is hard to pick the 'best' place. But I'll tell you what I've tried: Haunted Sea Chests in Cobalt Scar. There are 4 (that I know of - I've heard there's a fifth) on a static spawn in the shipwrecks. If you are a fast swimmer (or have lev), you can pretty much kill them constantly swimming a circle around the spawn points (I don't remember the exact spawn time anymore, but it is pretty hard to kill them fast enough and swim around and get back before the re-spawn). They do drop CDD but it would be really hard to give you a rate - maybe one every hour to hour and a half, but, like I said - who knows? You'd have to farm for a couple hundred hours to get any kind of decent statistic on it, and I haven't done that. They are sort of a pita because of the swimming and lots of adds, but the CDD's are there. You need to have decent CoV faction to do this, unless you can solo Kelorek Dar.

The other place I've tried is Suits of Sentient Armor in Wakening Land. There are 6 of them on a 15 minute spawn altogether in one area. I've never had an add there, so it is less of a pain, but I usually spend more than half my time just sitting and waiting for re-spawn. You can, during the interim, run back to the Skyshrine zone area and kill all the Raptors in hopes that Rapticor will spawn. I have read, but don't know for a fact, that he drops CDD fairly commonly. But he's a rare spawn and I've never seen him, though I did kill a lot of raptors.

One good thing about the Suits is that they also drop Velium Weapons which you can convert to Velium, so you can kill two birds with one stone. However, because of their spawn time you will get velium much more quickly in the Tizmak caves if that is what you are after. As far as drop rates for CDD on the Suits, about the same in terms of time as the sea-chests as far as I can tell, but again, I haven't spent enough time in either place to get any kind of accurate read. You can kill in either place for 2 hours plus and not see one sometimes.

I've heard that SG is good for CDD, but I have trouble hunting solo in there because I'm not a snarer.

            Hope this helps.

Spiderling silk ---> Rathe Mountains, where the (good) froggies have set up their tents. Kill the yellow domesticated Spiderlings, they can drop anywhere from 0-6 spiderling silks. Crab spiderlings drop 1 or 2 silks occasionally, as well.

You can maximize your gains by sticking to only the spots in Ssra where a Live snake (wears clothes) always spawns and avoid the spawns that can be random live or dead.

There are 5 always live mobs in the entry room of Ssra that can all drop scales. If you go through the right most door, the 2 that guard the ring ramp are both always live and can both drop scales. To the left as you look at the ramp (but not up the ramp) is another always live mob spawn point that can drop scales.

Back in the entry room, if you go through the door directly ahead from the zone in, there are 4 always live mobs that can drop scales just down the hall. Past that, go left down the hall to the door with 3 spawns inside that guard the locked door. 2 of those, the middle and left spawn, are always live and can drop scales. Once those are dead, go back to the short hall you just passed to a room with 10 snakes (Rhag 1 vestibule) that are always live and can drop scales.

Keep going through that room and go right at the intersection to the next ring room. The 2 that guard the ring ramp and the 3 that surround the rings are always live spots and can drop scales.

If you clear all those and have time before respawns, you can either work on the other 2 3 spawn rooms, in which the left spawn is always live. Or, you can go back to the entry room and up the ramp and through the first door on the right, where there are 4 always live spawns out of 8, and 1 random. If you still have time, go through the door opposite the one you came in and kill the 2 guards at that ring ramp.

If mana is an issue and you have difficulty with the Elites or Commander spawns, then stick to just the 5 entry mobs, the 4 mobs down the front hall and the 10 mobs in the Rhag 1 Vestibule. All the other spawn points I listed can spawn Elites or the Commander, though they can also drop scales.

Self buffed as a ranger with a 50% clicky haste cloak, I could clear all the spawn points I listed and be slightly behind on respawns, but each clearing would net between 6-12 scales, or about 3 clearings per 75 minutes. I almost always averaged 24 scales per hour at that rate. But since they are light blue mobs, I probably have a fairly high kill rate advantage, as I'm not nearly as mana dependant for damage as you are.

I've had my best luck with CCD in Icewell Keep under the ice (icy tentacles, ice golems, etc.). There's like a 90% chance of getting a crushed gem from the mobs there. Too bad there's only a good 12-15 mobs under there, they are usually respawning before I get a chance to clear them.

Leather Pads, by far the best drop rate for me has been the Poacher's camp in JP. Also, for farming, you might want to consider a couple of things, dire charm will help your druid tremendously. The best farming tool out there seems to be bards, mana is less of an issue, they run fast and self heal, get heal potions and go to work.

I did all my velium farming in Skyshrine, before the ore conversion thing, would be even better now. All crystal golem types drop them, and bank and forge in the zone for the win.

This is wrong. It might have been that inner acrylia was better at some point. Last week I went through there once (meaning killing everything) and got a few bricks and blocks, took me over half an hour. They are level 53-55 so the exp there is really minimal at 70.

Then I went and AE-d everything in outer and got a LOT more, killed them all before repop too. One full clear of the greencons gave me about 150 small pieces of acrylia after converting and about 1.5-3k worth of sellable drops.

Shimmering Ukin Hides ---> Best place I found was in Blood Fields(zone off of Dranik Scar, again not sure if correct zone name) Right as you come out of tunnel. Is there a better spot?
There's lots of higher level ukuns past Krekk Brimblade (warrior epic mob) in ruined city of dranik that drop the hides frequently too. But that takes a good group.. and actually gives good exp. These mobs are arond level 65 i think.

To each there own. I'd take the few thousand pp that is earned during the clearing and buy more acrylia. Plus the little yellow words made me happy.

Thus to me, Inner > all for acrylia.

                            Any Froglok faction involved?

Also its a bit of a stretch, but there are 2 spiderlings in the brownie camp in LFay that always drop at least 1 spiderling silk up to 5. Hell you can even kill brownies while waiting for the spiderlings to repop and stock up on Brownie Parts.
