I just can't wait until they make 20 slot bags to go in the bank .

I plan on selling a few hundred Hand Made Backpacks on day 1.

If you have to ask you're obviously not my target audience.

Most people will fill a 10 slot backpack with an extra set of gear, maybe tradeskill gear, maybe resist gear...

With a backpack in the bank you can just switch it out and leave another in its place from your inventory.

With a toolbox most likely you will be transferring the items individually in and out of all those boxes into the bags that you keep in your inventory.

Sure you can have a few Tradeskill pouches and a few toolboxes in your bank, but filling it with them is not as common as you think.

I never have trouble selling backpacks 7-8 at a time as it is, those same people will want another 8 the day LoY goes live.


P.S. That just made me think of a cleaning nightmare... imagine 24 bags open all over your screen trying to sort your inventory /cringe.

My immediate reaction to reading eight slots was "isn't that too good?". Kinda sad that i've been trained so well by Verant/Sony that when something sounds good my immediate reaction is "Will it be nerfed?". *grin*.

The only concern that comes to mind was mentioned above, with twice as much bank space, people will be more likely to hold things in the bank rather than pass them along. I know i've sold a few bits and pieces on occasion just to free up bank space, and passed a lot of things along to newbies as the hassle of moving them to my seller mule was more than that one slot of bank space was worth at the moment.

Still, as stated above, you have to actively look for a reason to dislike this one, I know i'll be gleefully loading up eight new trader bags come release day. Makes me glad I didn't out of frustration junk the seven Dark Pages I have banked. (as I think on it, not only will this change promote tradeskilling, really it will promote questing as well, perhaps it's time for me to start keeping those shards for a VT key rather than destroying them)

It might drive up the prices on some things espesially trade skill items since more people will be hanging on to things.
Which might be good or bad depending on you.

It may be a few weeks before I totally trust these new slots not to lose pieces of my epic or anything else for that matter.

Probably a wise course of action. I, too, will likely plunk all my '****, oh well' stuff in those extra slots just in case something goes haywire and those slots get wiped (Which would not be that big of a surprise).

If it does work properly it'll sure be a godsend to anyone who likes to quest and tradeskill.. heck, it'll be a godsend to anyone who does just ONE of those two things.

Now what -I- would like to see are
1) More stackable things (Like why is a block of clay stackable but a block of metal is not?)
2) Boost stacks to 50. One could argue this left and right, but considering the fact that if you fill up a stack of something for some reason or another there's a 99% chance you'll need about 10 more stacks of that item eventually.

By the time this comes out they will also have fixed it so you can run multiple sessions of EQ from 1 computer...

This will dramatically increase 2 boxing for those of us who never downloaded EQW.

I will be creating another account to have a cleric to heal and a druid to port my main around... not just for a mule.

And even if it was a "mule" account, most people would leave the mule account in bazaar, and still be able to play with their own account, this will be unchanged... you can now just give the mule 3200 HMP to sell

I definitely plan to buy 8 more trader's satchels for each of my characters, because they're cheap and easy.

I can see some demand for ten-slot backpacks, but I'm not sure how big it'll be. If it is big, I can imagine a few druids/wizards making a killing porting back and forth with C3 and some toolboxes. Seeing how the bazaar works, I believe that will at least put some price pressure on the tailored backpacks.
