  • A fond farewell

    Hello 'skillers,

While rumors of my eloquence in previous posts may have some validity, I'll try to keep this short and not too sweet.

Today is my last day on the EverQuest Live team, as I'm transferring over to a new project here at SoE. Four years in a very long time to spend on one game and, while it's certainly been fun, I found that doing something different had gained enough priority in my thoughts to try and make it happen.

I want to thank you all for the excellent welcome and the respectful reception I've received during the last couple years. It's been great getting to know you crazy people (my private word for tradeskillers... "crazy" in a good, non-violent (mostly) way). You all have a much bigger insider now in Ngreth so I know I won't be too sorely missed as a resource. I'll still hang around the boards, of course, though I may leave posting official stuff to the Ogres.

    See you around.

Thanks for the years of fun! We (tradeskillers) are very good at bitching and moaning, but deep down we love the skilling! So for all work you put in so we can enjoy our playtime.... Thank You!

Good luck on your next project, I hope all goes well.

Enjoy the new project and new opportunity =) You have done a tremendous amount for us via information and explanation, as well as many things about which we don't know I am sure. I know we are often silent during the times we are thankful and vocal during the times we are not =) So, to be clear, you have my thanks for your work in making an enjoyable everquest tradeskill system.

        Take care =)

After four years on EQ tradeskilling, you will have to concentrate really hard to resist the urge to add a celestial essence to fill in the holes of new recipes you create. /snicker

Good Luck and all the best. After four years of handling what you did you can take on anything and succeed again! (provided you remember to bring enough water flasks )
