Bazu Aug question help please

I've searched and searched the forums here as well as the recipes list and I can't seem to find the answer to my question so perhaps some of you can help.

I got a bazu stone from our raid tonight, and decided that I'd like to put cold focus on it, of course I want the best cold focus I can get. I know that with the OoW augs there are different levels to the augs ie one made one way will have 45 hp on it while if you make the same aug a different way it has like 30 hp.

It seems that the bazu augs are the same in that the Baleful aug type is better than the non-baleful type. For example the Bazu Seal of Baleful Breezes has Avaraciousness of the Aenuk, while the Bazu Seal of Breezes has the lesser focus Conservation of Xegony.

It appears that the difference between the two is the mechano tablet that you use. For the cold focus I would ( if I understand correctly ) need the Deleterious Cryonic Mechanotablet and Mechanoinstructions instead of just the regular Cryonic Mechanotablet and instructions. Is this correct? If so, is there a way to turn a Cryonic Mechanotablet and instructions into Deleterious ones, or are they dropped. Are deleterious tablets dropping somewhere different than the regular tablets?

Any information I can get here would be fantastic, thanks in advance.

Just need a regular Cryonic Mechanotablet, it is the best you can do. The difference with the deliterious tablets is that one kind will give you a focus that works on all spells, while others give you more powerfull effects but only for a specific type of spell (beneficial or detrimental). Hope I explained myself allright, 4:30 or so am so a little out of it atm. Grats on the Bazu Stone!

Answering the 2nd question about dropping. I know they do drop off that "faction" camp in Corathus Creep (the one you need to kill the Creeper Reepers for the +50 to all resist right click mask).

I haven't researched where else they drop, but each item drops as a separate mechanotablet. I've gotten about 14 of them there so far.

Here's a list of the various types of Mechanotablets that drop and the "general" category of focus effects they add. I haven't tested these all (in fact, I suspect it's impossible for anyone one person to do so), but the known items on Lucy and EQItems seem to match this scheme. This might help you decide what mechanotablet you need.

Deleterious Accelerative Mechanotablet - Detrimental spell haste
Salutary Accelerative Mechanotablet - Beneficial spell haste
Imprecise Accelerative Mechanotablet - General spell haste (generally a notch lower than the split effects above)

Deleterious Continuance Mechanotablet – Detrimental spell extension (DoT spells)
Salutary Continuance Mechanotablet – Beneficial spell extension (buffs)

Deleterious Radiation Mechanotablet - Detrimental mana preservation
Salutary Radiation Mechanotablet - Beneficial mana preservation

Deletrious = detrimental
Salutary = beneficial
Imprecise = general purpose

Accelerative = spell haste
Continuance = extension
Radiation = mana preservation
Fluctuator = range
Remidiatory = heal

Coadjutor = "assistant" (pet)

Pet focus however doesn't work.. It wont do the final combine in the AAAA. Just so people know and dont think they can get the pet focus.
