i was there trying to raise my faction for a quest and when i tried a newbie quest to do it i couldn't even do that. i am indiffernt now so what do i need to kill in order to get more faction?

I'm not sure if there's anything you can kill to raise faction, but there was a quest, Reokar's Collection, which could be used to build faction with the Guktan Frogloks. It's a fairly easy quest. Not familiar with the listed quest, but I used to buy fresh fish from a vendor near docks in Freeport.
Also, when I was working frogloks of guk faction, I noticed wolf form raised me 1-2 levels with them. Maybe that would help with Guktans as well.Last edited by Prexis; 12-18-2005, 02:01 AM.Veritable Quandary

wolf form makes them scowl at me. tried the reokar quest but faction is too low at indifferent. onyl thing i saw to kill that will raise faction is the first and second fragment of igok. everything else needs to be much higher faction

I have maxxed my faction with frogs. It took me over a year. I am a dark elf enchanter. The Reodar quest was sorta broken until a few months ago when the frogs moved to rathe. I sent in feedbacks and bugs every few weeks about it. With up to ally faction I could not do the turn in because they saw me as a dark elf even though I was in illusion and using faction raising spells - I was ally, but they told me to go away they wont help. Now that quest is fixed so illusions and spells work, but only can use bone chips now. The fish and ears he no longer accepts even though the dialogue remained intact.
Anyways, the other way to gain faction was to do the ring of marr quest. Which I did. 100-s of times. collect those red no drop stones from undead in oasis and the ro's and the rare ring drop off the erudite in oasis at the tower. Again requiring a minimum faction to complete though. Igok repops in 15 - 20 minutes. if you can spare the time, farm it for faction. I still kill it every time I run by towards corathus.
Oh and one last thing, even though my faction is max, its only with certain factions, not every frog. Many still scowl and I have found no way to fix it.

Haven't really gone by Gukta since the change. Here's a couple of things that could be useful though.
A lot of cities now have rat whiskers quests, which can raise up some random factions.
Rogue shroud 4tw! I'm slowly working on trying to get in good favor with the clerics of mischeif as an innoruuk worshipping dark elf. I've already done the order of three in qeynos. Lets you do turnins without having to have someone paci/invis.
I hate those random npcs that don't seem to follow any particular faction. There's one in Erudin that hates me although I'm not kos to anyone else in the zone. I did a lot of killing in the Warrens, and used to kill the sk in Lavastorm a lot before the revamp. Now I'm not sure where she is.
