    - Jar of Clockwork Grease is now made with a Small Grease Jar in a toolbox. A Small Grease Jar is made the same way a clay jar is, except that you use a Small Grease Jar Sketch.

A quick hint: Mobs only aggro on the tic.
Watch your buff timers/hp regen/mana regen. Wait for it to change, then you have 6 seconds to right click Nitram and rehide.

For those who might be wondering his schedule seems to be about like this.

        1. 15 minutes at his shop.
        2. 2 minutes walking to the entry
        3. 18 to 23 minutes in the area of the zone in -- He wanders about near and in the graveyard for a while, stopping for long pauses at various locations just outside the graveyard and deep in the back of the graveyard. If he stops just outside the graveyard when he first arrives and there's a mob pathing back and for there, you can wait a few minutes and he'll eventually wander deeper inside where he'll be out of agro range of the mobs. I think he'll hang out there a little longer if you hail him and run him through portions of his quest dialog.
        4. 2 minutes walking back to his shop.

And then he repeats the cycle

What this means is that if he's not near the graveyard area when you zone in to look for him he'll be there within about 19 minutes or so ... unless, of course, somebody has triggered his quest and he's walking around the deeper parts of the zone.

It would be nice for us rogues if they'd either tweak his pathing a little to have him move all the way back into the back of his shop where he used to stand, or moved the static spawns a little be father away from the front of his shop so folks who can get back to him there could shop without having to wait for him at the entry area like we rogues used to be able to do.

Do you have to do these new jars on the tinker, cause I was combining them with my cleric, then moving them over to my level 22 tinker!

My guess would be yes because it is a combine in a toolbox (not a recharge), but haven't tried. Personally, for myself, I couldn't see making the pottery combine on 1 toon and transferring all those non-stackable jar to my gnome. It isn't something I'd even use as a pottery skill up path. It is much better to just do the new combine on your gnome in my opinion.

I believe it is a no fail combine.

You can do it as your non-gnome, you just will not get the new UI to help you out as you would if you are a Gnome with tinkering skill.

As for Nitram... max shopping range on the steps is still in agro range?

I cannot get him to go back into his house (I explain it more in the tinkering forum), and it will be a while before I can move the other NPC's so don't "wait" for it, and see if you can get to him safely from the stairs.

When they added shrouds into the game did that not obviate the need for a rog alt? Can't you buy it in goblin shroud and then deshroud and get the item from the shroud inventory?

Shroud rogues do not get shroud of stealth (the AA ability to be invis to see invis mobs).

Given that for each attempt that results in agro I have to either blow escape (which even with all the AAs available takes 36 minutes to recycle) or train a significant portion of the zone down toward the grave yard area (not a cool thing to do since people tend to hang out hunting there) it could take a while for me to work out whether or not that can work. I will, however, try to see if I can succeed.

Given the placement of mobs around that area I have a feeling that if there is a spot you can stand to buy from him that doesn't get agro it will be a very tiny little area and you'll need to position yourself very, very carefully using locs to be in just the right spot.

Drop hide, rt click, hide again. It takes under a second to hit all 3 and I have yet to get agro (rog. is 65).

I have no problem using that method. It's the one I was using when the mobs agroed on me.

For what it may be worth, however, I was able to locate a spot just barely out of agro range of the static spawns and barely within range of opening a merchant window with Nitram. I began by taking out the roaming Erratic Model that was in the area so I wouldn't have to worry about it messing up my experiment. I then checked to see if the static spawn mobs would agro if I dropped hide while standing at the top of the steps into Nitrim's workshop. They didn't agro, but I was too far away from Nitrim to open a merchant window there. I then moved down the steps one at a time and tried again to open the merchant window at each step. A few steps down from the top I succeeded and did so without getting agro. I think I was barely a step or two above where I was on a previous attempt when I did get agro, so I'd have to say that there's virtually no room for error on this.

In other words it does work, but it's a wee bit tricky.

                        I can live with that.

Sure, if you have like 45 mins to spare. The reason I created a Rogue and got him to level where he can get SoS is that I don't have to wait. I just zone in, get to the Gnome, buy things and get out. Whole trip, 5 mins tops. I don't want to wait at zi for a long time for the Gnome to come there.

He's a tinkering vendor for the most part.

The main reason that I hate his moving... people vendor farm him more easily now
