OK.. Trolling through the Sony Boards ( something I loathe doing normally) I came across this post from Maddoc as part of a thread.:

There are actually a few skills that I'd like to make more useful than they currently are -- Fletching, Baking, and Brewing are the ones that come to mind most immediately. They're also the ones that will require some code support to do properly (and also why we've not done anything to them just yet.)

The code requests are in, when we get them, you're going to see a lot of changes and benefits going in with those skills.
