  • DoN Arms/ DoN Boot inequalities

I have a minor quibble with DON crafting. Historically, BPs and Legs of most crafted armors require 3 swatches/bars/sheets of xxx to work; hats, feet and arms 2 pieces; and other misc parts only 1. The armors reflected this in some (small) way, with additional HPs, AC, what have you.

But for the DoN crafted gear (which, of course, must be looked at as a whole - augment + base unit), boots requiring 2 craftybits of xxx are actually *worse* than slots that only use 1. In addition, the DON cultural sleeves are downgraded from 2 craftybits to one. Don't get me wrong - I am thrilled about the DoN balancing from the summer

I actually had to go digging back in the history of Plate gear and it seems you're right on the fact of Arms always having been 2 sheets. Things I never really noticed.

As for the boots and gloves using two MDS and having worse stats than the arms/helm... that's to be expected. 45ac for both Boots and Gloves is very good given how hard it is to get AC upgrades in those respective slots. You can't compare one slot against another as they are apples to oranges.
