/em gets ready to edit item 9 on the Traderskillers' Top Ten. =)
Edit: On an unrelated note, and at risk of derailing the thread, Item 7, Sub-item 4 on the Top Ten list probably should be part of Item 10.Sir KyrosKrane Sylvanblade
Master Artisan (300 + GM Trophy in all) of Luclin (Veeshan)
Master Fisherman (200) and possibly Drunk (2xx + 20%), not sober enough to tell!

Hey. That's my job.Originally posted by KyrosKrane/em gets ready to edit item 9 on the Traderskillers' Top Ten. =)

Speaking of the top 10, I think it's time that we relook at it, and see what changes we want to make, so we have a nice updated version for the next time around. I'll be putting up a new thread about this in the next day or so.
Yeah, you're right about item 7.4. There are actually a few items on the list that are dealing with the amount of space that we need; item 7, item 9 to an extent ("The purpose here is conserving bankspace by reducing the number of geerloks you need to keep on hand") and item 10. Maybe we should reconfigure so that we have one item that deals with bank space (then I can add in the suggestion of a tradeskill only bank, which is only accessable at certain places in the world, such as shadowhaven, abysmal sea and the PoK, that gives us a bank that can only hold things that are tradeskill flagged.) I would also like to flesh out the idea that the trophy and the geerlok should not have the same tradeskill mod on them (got some feedback from Shackelton, the rogue correspondent about the GMAS having the same mod as well). Given the difficulty (time and effort spent raising your skill high enough to succeed on the combine) in obtaining the trophy compared to spending 100 plat in the bazaar for a geerlok, it would seem that they should not have the same mod on them.
Anyway, those are a couple thoughts on the issue list. I'll post more thoughts when I put the list up for discussion.Last edited by Nolrog; 11-11-2005, 07:28 AM.

So are these satchels going to have more slots? Do we know? What makes them better than the standard trophy bag?Andyhre playing Guiscard, 78th-level Ranger, E`ci (Tunare)

All I know is that there's sure to be an uproar if these go live before 282-300 fletching is fixed for non Feir`Dal, non-Karana worshipping folks... Putting forth a reward for reaching 2100 prior to leveling the path to 2100 might be perceived badly.
Not speaking for me personally, as I've got a long, long way to go before Expert Artisan, let alone Master Artisan, just anticipating the sour grapes.Chase

They aren't necessarily, nor do they have to be, better.Originally posted by andyhreSo are these satchels going to have more slots? Do we know? What makes them better than the standard trophy bag?
They might simply be effects for a super-trophy or something of that nature, maybe an item tradeskillers can obtain/make every time they reach a certain Artisan level

They are expected to be the new Spring fashion early next year which is why they are going to be available in a variety of designer colors, and best of all they make a nice silky swooshing sound of quality when you open them.Originally posted by andyhreWhat makes them better than the standard trophy bag?

And oh, yeah, the red ones are thermally insulated to help keep your baked goods warm until delivery.

Don't hold your breath. Will be about 3 months until these are attainable. It is just the weird system that allows spells to be readable before they are really used. We did not want to wait until the last minute for these spells, but wanted to get them done. So they appeared long before they would get used anywhere.
You are welcome to speculate all you want, but you will not be getting any answers from me for at least 3 months, maybe more.
