Does anyone know if you need to wear GM armor to activate a GM charm, or will any DoN cultural armor work? I presently wear most of a full set of master armor, and im wondering if i should try get a GM charm, or just stick with my wooden figurine (think its about 55 hp for me)

I remember reading a report somewhere that it does work with lower-level armors; it just doesn't power up as high as wearing GM stuff.Sir KyrosKrane Sylvanblade
Master Artisan (300 + GM Trophy in all) of Luclin (Veeshan)
Master Fisherman (200) and possibly Drunk (2xx + 20%), not sober enough to tell!

My understanding is that all of the charms are affected by all of the armor, regardless of tiers. But higher tier armor has a stronger effect, and a higher tier charm will give more stats per armor piece. (And the more difficult pieces, like chest or legs, have a stronger effect than the easier ones, like wrists.)

I can verify this. I have an expert's charm. I have a set of journemans, experts and masters selves. Equiping the journeymans sleves raises the stats on the expert's charm. Going from journeymans to experts sleves increases the stats again, then going from the experts sleves to the masters sleves increases the stats once again on the charm. The benefit from the charm definatly seems to scale to the quality of the armor you are wearing both directions up and down. Hope this helps. Good tradeskilling to 'ya.
