General Tradeskilling Question

Is anyone else having problems lvl'ing up tradeskills after lvl 200?? I'm 200 in Brewing and I'm doing the Minotaur Hero's Brew combine with no mod. I've done about 150 combines with no skillup. I didn't have this much trouble with baking... Is it skill specific? Or is anyone else having this problem?

Have you purchased your New Tanaan Crafting Mastery AAs? 3 points per tradeskill past the first. This will allow you to raise past 200.

I seemed to have a similar issue with Alchemy within the last few weeks. But I finally did get to 201 and 202 came pretty quick after that. But I think it took like 80 or more combines after I hit 200 to get to 201.

One thing I've kind of noticed recently is if you close/open the combine container and do a combine you get a skill-up right away if you've been doing a few combines on Master's level DoN smithing before without zoning. I think this happened to me a few times if I had not zoned, but just closed/re-opened the forge on a series of like 12 combines (close after 6, open, do 7 get skill-up, then do a couple more, close/open do a combine get another skill-up). If I would open the forge and do say 17 combines in a row on Master's level stuff I typically would not get any skill-ups (around 271 in smithing... but I've got the VT Gloves).

If you've raised baking post 200 without buying New Tenaan AA then you can't skillup past 200 in brewing. Otherwise if you have it's just bad luck and keep at it.
