excellent point there, Pack sales will increase again, unless folks go for the deluxe tool boxes, either way, get a few mules, fill them with toolboxes and come to bazaar and aution them.

think the froggy spell casters will have a ton of illusions?

Hate to burst your bubble but the ideal bank bag has now become the trader satchel. You just fill your bag with 10 slot, can hold anything bags. Who cares if they weigh ungodly amounts. They are in your bank. And, readily purchaseable for a couple plat each.

There are also the Feir'Dal kits (or any other cultural kits?) - 10 slots.

I wouldn't recommend buying them for tradeskills, though, I usualy sell them for 150PP to 250PP...

Would take a large pile of very unintelligent people to pay 50+ pp for tailored containers when you can go to PoK and buy toolboxes, or hit the bazaar merchant for trader satchels, you can outfit a full 10 slot bank for less than 15pp.

I do wonder how they intend on raising bank space. Will it be more bank slots? Specialy bank-only containers (Easily done...make them weigh about 2000 lbs, and only sold in the bazaar - so you can move while you have one in inventory) that have 12+ slots? Both?

                Hmm, thats a first.

Those satchels are no drop... so you can't transfer them to alts.

Also it is sometimes nice to just switch out bags for different situations from your characters inventory to the bank.

I use Hand Made backpacks everywhere, I have 4 traders satchels and my rallic pack if I ever get a giant item, but they are so few and far between I hardly notice it.

                ----

On the patch message, I am wondering how close it is to april fools day, a playable froglock?

Oh well, I did want to start a shaman, and they will definately have them (already do)... as well as Wizards and Warrior class... seen a Necro one...

Anyone got a list of all the NPC Froglok character classes... would be interesting to know if they stick by it.

Here I come to rain on the parade...

Personally, I'm not happy to see yet another expansion so soon. It seems this is the new Verant's answer to everything... Class balance problems? Make a new expansion! Numerous tradeskill bugs? Make a new expansion! Massive overcrowding in some areas due to xp gaining limits? Make a new expansion (that won't even help those levels!).

As for the Frogloks... well, if they actually do get Cultural-anything I expect it will be some strange Tailoring.

P.S. One of the Troll Cultural items (the Darkly Pulsing Orb) requires a drop from Upper Guk. If Upper Guk becomes a starting City, or the area around Upper Guk gets "newbie area guards", then what happens to that item... a very valuable piece of Troll Cultural Smithing?

I've never understood why people (of most races, anyway) pay for bank containers when the newbie quest containers are usually 10-slot & so readily available. Granted, some races don't have them yet, & other races have only a few available. Even so, why NOT get as many free 10-sloters for the bank as you can? I think a couple of my humans actually had to delete some to make room for trader satchels when they started going to the Bazaar, lol.

Big thing for me is the armor dyes. Will this actually let us TINT any armor piece? If so, I _seriously_ hope they add in a proper purple dye -- I want my bard in a full set of rich, royal purple (a la cleric Hate armor) NOT that cruddy sarcosypha fuschia stuff. Definitely need more color options than currently exist.

I don't think race matters, anyone can go to rivervale and say they are a warrior... as long as faction permits.

I loved this 'exploit' when I was a newbie...

                              -----

I am thinking for the expansion they will have a completely separate second bank, only available in 1 spot... that is guarded by a lvl 75 dragon.

"Hey, anyone wanna go on a banking raid, I left my sack of mammoth meat in there?"

Many folks just like to use the backpacks for consistency, the ability to do transfers, etc. Also not everyone knows about the other containers and traders satchels are not practical anywere but in the bazaar with their very high weight. I'd say putting together a few extra stacks of hides could pay off.
