  • Tradeskill for Gnome Shadowknight

What is the most useful tradeskill for a gnome SK to start other then tinkering? Thanks in advance

    Whichever one you like best.

Gnomes get no cultural, so dont look for cool stuff that's makeable because you're a gnome.

May as well go with smithing - it will compliment your tinkering a little bit and it's a good tradeskill for tanks in general.

If you do tinkering it wont count against having a different skill up to 250.. and with PoP its a lot cheaper to get tinkering up, with the collapsable containers and what not you can dumpster dive coiled springs for 1pp + change each all over the place and geerloks are 500% easier now that you can buy the stuff in Shadowhaven instead of having to run to katta for non-stackable stuff.

          the benefits of this=

As a plate class gnome (my poor rogue cant use these!!!! )
you can wear clockwork.. with clockwork you can have dex and str raised up 25 points each or so self buffed, have 40% haste + whatever haste item you have, invis yourself (although as an SK not a problem) and give yourself SoW. (you could also summon really crappy weapons and cast see invis if you wanted to make those pieces) The Str buff and the haste alone are worth the effort, much of my rogues guild are gnomes and the warriors kick serious butt with their extra buffs (and major twinkage >&lt and the cost per charge of the SoW pants is less than buying sow potions.

And if you tinker like said above you can still GM another skill, such as smithing or tailoring or whatever... i wouldnt recommend smithing, if youre gunna do that make a dwarven alt so you can make brellium for your shadowknight
