Being a woodelf druid, Calian Silverlake gives me my DoN tradeskill quests. But he does NOT give me any quests related to DoD.

Can anyone enlighten me? As well, can anyone confirm who gives the DoD tradeskill quests for other races/classes?

My guy in Oggok gives me the exact same responses when I guery about DoN stuff, EXCEPT (and I missed this the first time) he mentions another bracketed place when I ask about the symbols, [underground] or some such, in addition to the other 4 places that I had to go for DoN quests. When I /say this new place, a task window opens up.
Have not done any DoDH missions yet as I do not have that expansion. I am assuming you need DoDH to do any of the new DoDH cultural augs, but do not know that for sure

My original cultural NPC in Qeynos did not give any new text when I spoke to him, but did give me the new DoD task when I said the word underground.

The half elf in Qeynos does not give the [underground] text but gave me the quest when I said underground. Halfling quest person in Rivervale has the underground text.

Thanks alot Kaaba and Prexis. I was wondering why I didn't get any text about the DoD quest. Guess the Devs forgot to change the respons on him.

More details when you have small bugs like this will help get them fixed, as they will take less time.

Specific Zones, specific names, and even specific locations of the NPC's all help the Devs save time... and if they can save time fixing bugs, they can fix more bugs, or even sneak in a quick fix for soemthing fast when they ahve the time... it is NOT fast if they have to figure which of 20 some NPC's in different zones. you are talking about... especially when you give no race and class for yourself

If they have 15 minutes to fix a bug, but it will take an hourss worth of research... and 5 minutes to fix... well, it isn;t gonna happen

So Details please!

Of note, he says it after the other 4 bracketed [zones].

YOU MUST SAY [armor] to him first and he will give you the 5 bracketed text words.

Also note that you have to have talked to your NPC before you loot the Geode. Maybe this was obvious to everyone else, but I was momentarily confused when he wouldn't take mine, which I had looted 20 minutes before...

I got the guy in neriak to give the addon quest but have not as of yet been able to find any drop infomation on the "darkhollow geode" any info would be appreciated

What zone and mob did you get to drop from - and was it a "Large Darkhollow Geode" or another name?

Thanks for responding to my post. I was indeed able to get the task using the word "underground", found my geode, and turned it in to get the book.

For those asking about finding the large darkhollow geodes, they seem to just be a semi-rare drop in any of the DoDH zones. I've gotten quite a few of them doing the 68-70 spell missions, but never more than 1 per mission. So that means I'm probably averaging about 1 per 3 hours hunting.

Also, you have to loot it AFTER you have the task. You can't give him one you looted earlier, it won't count.

I got a geode last night off a drachnid in the 3rd level 68 spell/disc task.
