  • Retired warrior needs to start a tradeskill

My very first effort with EQ was an Iksar warrior, with really bad stats.
    STR 85
    STA 85
    AGI 100
    DEX 85
    WIS 90
    INT 75
    CHA 55
Of course, some will look at these stats and either groan, or laff their heads off.
I got him to level 20, and have decided to retire from battles. Tired of dieing, or dozing while waiting for STR and STA to build up. Instead of deleting the old warrior, I thought I could go into tradeskills. What suggestions for a tradeskill or two?

Honestly? You're only level 20, and that can be done in a long weekend without twinking too badly. If you really want to tradeskill, I'd recommend rolling a new character that you'll be happier with all round.

I agree with Ian. If you really do not want to level your warrior any more reroll either an int caster or a wis caster to make your tradeskilling days a little more easy. High wis/int helps with skill-ups. This is not to say you cannot do it with your warrior but it would be more time/pp efficient to reroll a caster to be your trade skiller.

Casters usually go for high int/wis gear anyway to level so in your regular outfitting of a caster you are already helping out your traderskiller with his/her skill checks(which tend to be long enough inbetween with int/wis over 200 let alone wis/int under 100).
