Cazic Thule drops

I think perhaps VI has increased the drop rates on tradeskill item drops in Cazic Thule. This evening in the 4c we had 2 viscid silk swatches, 1 chunk of cazicite, about 7 or 8 vials of blood (1 from the zone-in mobs) and 5 tae ew meats in about 3.5 hours. That's more than I've seen in all my past Cazic trips combined, and we were only doing the corners, not the pyramid.

Has anyone else seen these bits become more plentiful, or did we just have stunning luck?

Cazic Thule tradeskills drops

What is the drop rate on the Cazacite? is it as bad as the pristine scales and flawless hides? is it worse?

I see a lot of info on the Tae Ew chain armor, but very little info on the cazacite, which is probably the long-term future of Cazic Thule raids...

Lilosh - Blood is the easy part, now if Hides would drop more.

Kinare - 100pp is cheap. I sold my 6 for 2k each just last week, although prices have gone down to about 1k'ish on Povar.

Last night on the 7th hammer, my guild netted 3-4 blood vials in about an hour and a half, just pulling the door spawns and the courtyard.

Flawless tae ew hides are still obscenely rare (or we're hunting the wrong lizards (brown ones in 4c)).

Thanks for the advice on this thread! I had come into the ingredients for scale tempers and considered making Tae Ew shields for my guild. Last night after raid a few of us went over to 4c. Our puller kept us very busy (VERY busy!). After hour and half had 7 bloods. Last half hour, nada. It was this thread that encouraged me! Thanks for the feedback guys.

We also walked away with a chunck of cazacite and flawless hide.

Wow...I've suddenly seen first blood being sold in the bazaar in the last week (only seen it once in my infrequent trips to the bazaar before last week) and last I've seen people actually have several in stock. General price still usually isn't going below 4k (was very happy when I found 3 for 2.5k each over the weekend). If this is the trend, I need to dump the 2h tae ew sword I've been trying to sell before prices dip way low!
