With the move to Rathe Mountains, I decided to pay a visit to Dar Forager Lumun in the Froglok tent city and see about converting some low quality and medium quality bear pelts.
He conned indifferent to me. I was able to view the vendor contents and hail him about the quest to convert bear, lion, and wolf skins/pelts. When I handed him three low quality bear pelts (unstacked) he handed all three bear skins back with the reply "Hmm...There's something I don't quite trust about you".
Tried this with a Half Elf ranger (Tunare), Barbarian shaman (The Tribunal) and a Dark Elf enchanter (Agnostic with gnome illusion on and cast faction spell Collaboration on another Dar type frog). Dar Forager Lumun conned indifferent to all three characters.
Was wondering if this is a race issue, religion issue or faction issue?
I could have sworn, that I had taken my shaman to Grobb/Gukta and successfully did the conversion quest. That was last year.
Anyhow, I would appreciate any information, that might shed some light on whether anyone else other than Froglok characters has successfully completed the quest.
one last note - Tried to do the faction quest with Dar Collector Reokar (depending on cycle, he wants bone chips, fresh fish or giant rat ears) to gain Gukta faction and had same results. He made same comments as Dar Forager Lumun and returned the requested items (bone chips).
