Yeah, but if you compare 7.5pp per forage (and you rarely get a 15) to selling some other foraged item in bazaar for 150pp, I'll take the latter any day. I don't need low budget instant gratification.

The main thing is how many 150pp items do you forage a hour?

      Yew leaves 1-2 a hour.
      Misty acorns 1-2 a hour.

Rare forages sell for more for a reason.

Just in case you haven't done this already, for what it's worth I think Lavaspinner's Lair would be your best forage location, just based on the going rate for some of the items that can be foraged there. The drawback is that it has a HUGE forage table, but some of the items you can forage there are in high demand and (unfortunately for TSers) bring high prices in the bazaar.
The forage table is as follows:

Air-Infused Spring Water, Amber Water Worm, blue nightwort, burnberry, Camphor Leaf, chunk of ice, coarse salt, cryptanthus, deadly ivy, deep forest mushroom, draconic essence, firefly, fruit, Jungle Pineapple, Lime, luminous ivy, marsh algae, marsh gas, mature silkworm, nettle creeper, Olive, pitcher plant, red cups, scale ore, silkworm, silkworm larva, sky vine, spiny fruit, starshine moss, steaming water, storm cloud, vegetables.

Of the above, Air-Infused Spring Water, Coarse salt, draconic essence, mature silkworm, red cups, scale ore, steaming water all command a decent price in the bazaar.

If you want to forage based on what you can sell back to a vendor AND bazaar customers, get your toon to level 15 so you can use the Magus', and head to Natimbi. Nothing will aggro you there, and some of the forages are fairly rare to come by any other way. Ginseng, moldy tea leaf, tea leaf oil, mint will all sell well in the bazaar, while the meats can be sold to the vendors right there in Natimbi. Also, a decent amount of high level stuff shows up on those vendors, as high level players either hunt there, or stop by to sell on their way to other zones.

Which is, in fact, the forage table for all of DoN, not just Lavaspinner's.

Good lists of high-demand items though, both DoN and GoD.

True, and it is worth noting that there are safer places to forage these items than in Lavaspinners. For example, there is a small dead end valley just inside the Broodlands zone where nothing paths and where nobody would train mobs while running to the zone. To get there, zone into the Broodlands from Lavastorm, exit the tunnel, and turn left along the zone wall. Hug as hard as you can to that zone wall and you'll soon come to the small dead-end valley.

By the way, if you see what looks like a small cave entry in the valley you went a little too far. That's the entry to instanced versions of Lavaspinners and it won't be a safe place as people sometimes train mobs there when running to their missions. Go back a bit and find the other little valley.
