In a thread that was locked for wandering far afield (here), Tanker responded that foragers with a skill over 100 get an increased chance of foraging rare/zone-specific forages.
Does anyone happen to know if this increased chance scales upward as foraging skill increases above 100? If it does, does it increase above the 200 cap with skill modifiers (such as the foraging machette)?
Our evidence gathered a couple years ago by Kobiyashi (?) seemed to indicate that the foraging machette made no difference in *what* was foraged by a forager at 200 skill. Perhaps the increase of the tradeskill caps has once again made the foraging machette worth hanging onto for those of us at 200 skill?
On a completely separate note, would the mods here at EQTC consider compiling a Foraging FAQ?

Anyone at all is welcome to submit stuff, either for stickying here or for posting to the site, even, if appropriate.
