  • Half Elf Tier 3 Drops still too rare, difficult to acquire

Tier 3 half elf drops are still too rare and too difficult to aquire - they drop of mobs that nobody kills routinely, said mobs summon as well. Once you actually kill one of these mobs you have a 1/20 chance of seeing one of the drops.

Both have been done. SOE's solution has been to increase mobs that drop the stuff from VP only to some rare drops outside VP - Basicly making it still an unviable skillup route. Best hope is the increase skillup chance on these to make up for the rarity of the drop

tnexus they're completely ignoring the problem now - they haven't replied to any threads on the tradeskill section of eqlive forums in... months

Be that as it may, these are not their forums. You can discuss your concerns with the community on these forums. Maybe the devs will choose to join in, and maybe not. Please do not post here specifically to get their attention.

verdani people keep telling me the devs read these boards for tradeskills issues more than they read their own boards

            /shrug

people over there tell me to come here and people here tell me to go over there.

Yes they read these boards. I don't know how they run their boards, but I know how we run ours. I'm assistant admin of this message board and I'm telling you that if you want to address SOE directly, use their channels to do so. It's not that we don't welcome conversation with them. It's that Niami and Ngreth are already only barely able to cover the costs of hosting this board, even with the texts ads at the top. If this becomes the place where everyone goes to get dev answers, traffic would multiply exponentially and these boards would cease to be. (Not to mention the fact that the quantity of questions would quickly become such that nobody would be likely to get an answer to anything, tradeskill or otherwise.)

So other people elsewhere can say what they like, but they don't make the rules. We do; please respect them.
