  • A Question of Marking

I was wondering if anyone knows if once you have etched an augment and added a "mark of whatever" to it...can you add a second mark without re-etching?

    cheers,

You can't add a second mark OR re-etch. You are done with that augment once it has been "mark"ed.

    Edit: I should clarify that.

There are 3 steps that you can do to an augment. You can do each ONCE and ONLY ONCE (with the exception that you can try the third step again if you failed it).

    1) Cut the base augment to make it Polished, Brilliant, or Radiant.
    2) "Etch" it by adding a mark to it, making a "<Insert Cut Here><Insert Gem Here> of Minor <Insert Mark Here>"
    3) Inlay it to make it "of <Insert Mark Here>" or "of Pure <Insert Mark Here>"
