I'm not going to waste my time defending poisons here, but I will say that you are dumb if you don't take advantage of all the tools in your arsenal. Even Spine Break, trivial at 32, will change how you think about the game at any level. That is all.

I wish I had never started it, only good point is the 1.2m pp Ive made on sucessful combines (and thats without any mastery or salvage).
The less rogues who can do them the better the prices, so dont do it, or i'll be sending the boys around to break your legs.

rog and shm are the only ones able to make augs. why would i want to let the shm make all the augs if i ahve the skill to do it as well? seems kinda stupid to me

I tend to aggree with Buns. If anyone out there is skilling up on poison making or alchemy on Bristlebane, please stop. I want to be able to sell my augments for whatever the market will bear. It gets hard for me to sell them if other people are making them too. It's like I have to keep adjusting my price to remain competative, and I don't like that.

One other thing you may want to keep in mind is the stat's effect on skill ups. As a Rogue, you will have more difficult time increasing your Wis/Int to make it easier to do tradeskills, specially at higher skill levels. As a Rogue, you can increase your Dex or Str much easier, which would benefit skills like Smithing, Poison Making or Fletching. At low level, you won't notice it but as you higher in skills, the pps you need to skill up can be insane and you would want to take advantage of everything you can.

                Poison Making

Honestly your best friend as a low level rogue is going to be smithing, then fletching then poison making.

That will change as you level up and get AAs. Once you get AAs Poison Making is your best friend ever. You don't have to make the augments yourself. You sell your skills to other people that want them made. They assume all risk. So start learning it now, it's not expensive to do. Hell Vendor bought to 275 anyway!

umm isn't that one of the inplied rules concerning business?? if you want to get ahead and make more money then the other person you need to keep a competitive edge. if you don't change or update your prices someone will go lower jsut to udnersell you. i still see people selling mistletoe sickles for 3k
