Do I Need Tanaan AA to get to skill 300?

OK....I done any Tradeskills on my new character, but I just want to get Brewing to skill 300. Do I need any type of AA, such as Tanaan or some other AA to get past skill 250?
Or can anyone just get at least one Tradeskill to 300.........if so, what is the highest you can get the other Tradeskills WITHOUT using any AA.
Is it now 250 for the others, or is is 300 for one skill, and max 200 for others without Tanaan AA?

Basically, you are always allowed to take at least one skill to 201+. The AA is to allow more than one tradeskill to go over the limit. IIRC tinkering, alchemy, poisonmaking, and research don't fall into the restriction since not every class/race gets them.

First skill over 200 you can take to 300 without AA's.

The Tanaan aa's allow you to get skills past the 200 threshold. After a skill is past 200, it can go all the way to 300 without additional aa's.

So, 300 for one skill, max 200 for the others without tanaan aa's is correct.

The new tanaan mastery aa's works on the seven original tradeskills (baking, brewing, fletching, jewelcraft, pottery, smithing and tailoring). You can have one of those skills above 200 without aa's but if you are the correct class/race you can also have the new tradeskills like alchemy, tinkering or poison making above 200 at the same time.

OK, being as I am only working on my first mastery ATM, here's a really dumb question lol. Do you need seperate Tanaan AA's for each additional tradeskill, or does the initial Tanaan AA count toward ALL additional tradeskills?

You can train the New Tannan AAs multiple times - each time you get it, you are allowed to train 1 additional skill above 200.
