DoN Aug Question

If this has already been answered somewhere else or if I'm in the wrong forum, if so perhaps someone can point me in the right direction

But, today I made my very first Grandmaster's Symbol! My smithing skill unmod'd 237 with BSM3 and Salvage3, so I think I got a bit lucky hehe.

Anywho..

The first thing I noticed about the aug was this:

This item can be used in tradeskills.

I can seem to find what combine the aug itself is used in.. Anyone know by chance? Is this item really used in further tradeskills?

I believe the jist of it is these are still "combineable" as they can be added into an appropriate armor piece in an augment bath. /shrug
