Do I find the "ancestral dark elven armor" that seems to be used in all the cultural tailoring?

I followed all steps, and figured this might be the book, but this netted me a backpack full of "symbol patterns"

Im on the verge of quitting EQ right now due to all this, im just so tired of thje crap. ANY help is appreciated, since no info seems to be able to be had about this mysteriuos item.

There's a symbol book and a patterns book. Talk to the quest giver he should mention both of them.

The pattern book should be the easiest of all the quests, generally located in a newbie zone near your home town (ie for woodelves and high elves the quests take you to Crushbone, for Erudites you need to go to Kerra Isle).

At the top of the Cultural Dark Elven Tailoring page is the following: "These are the tailored Duskwoven silk armor recipes, wearable by dark elf enchanters, magicians, necromancers, and wizards. For more information on DoN cultural, including the quests to get the books required to make the armor and symbols to augment it, see the DoN Cultural Armor Quest Overview and DoN Armor Quest Details for Dark Elves." (emphasis added)

Those links should have all the details you need.

Thanks, I found them just after I posted. Just quite frustrated right now over drop rates, skillups etc.
