Best Thundercrest Isles mission for Ogre GM tradeskill quest?

Workin' on the Grandmaster's Book of Ogre Culture now. Gotta kill 120 drakes in Thundercrest Isles missions and loot 80 fractured drake claws from them.

Which mission is best for just killing drakes? Tried one today and ended up bein' not very many drakes and nowhere near the entry. Any suggestions?

Oh, and I'm "indifferent" to dark reign and KOS to norrath's keepers.

K I'll try "simple task" tomorrow morning then. Should be able to three-box a drake or two and see how that goes.

I did "A Simple Task" a few... um .. times. Maybe around 6 or 7 times.
It seems that Iksar cultural with the same kills and drops needed can get them in the Delve and Stillmoon after they get some kills, whereas our drops only count in Thundercrest.

The creator mission has worked well for me. Easy to do, don't even need a tank, can kite the whole thing named included.

Yep creator is a keeper mission. Maybe time to log on my friend's goody-goody ranger and make a creator mission.

Really I don't give two hoots about finishing the mission, just killing the drakes in thundercrest to get the dang grandmaster quest thing finished.

Anyone know of a site that has good writeups for the various missions? I am just now getting started with them and teh only one I've really done much of is the "find drake fangs" one, the rest I haven't played around with much at all.

It seems that the west garden path that is used in the "A Simple Task" mission has a lot of drakes flying around both on the bridges (2 on way into center, and 4 more on west side) as well as many in the western garden. (around 10 to 12 more drakes)
I can't remember much about the creator mission but doesn't that take you through the middle building and has lots and lots of other mobs in the way?

Plundering the Hoard

Starts you off in maze area and 95% of the roaming mobs are drakes. But you'll need higher than Indiff. with Dark Reign to get it (amiable or kindly, IIRC).

Can just kill the roamers and wait for repops ... doesn't take much to single pull them.

Do the history of the Isles mission. Invis past most everything until you get to the NW corner of the map. Clear out that building, there are a bunch of drakes. Tons of kirin there too for those who need manes.
