Anyone else have an exceptionally good skilling session?

I did a run of 240 patty melts on Thursday and went from 152 to 172 with 210 WIS, which was kinda sadening after runing back and forth from jaggedpine to PoK after realizing I needed cheese, oh then I needed a casserole sketch, oh then I needed more cheese... argh
I then turned around and went from 0 to 148 pottery in about an hour, so all is not lost.

hmm.. I think it was last week sometime, before the patch on thursday. I did about 250 or so assorted PoP baking combines, starting at 231 skill, ending at 243 skill, averaging more than 50% success with geerlok equipped. Fairly surprised me with the many skillups I got in that run.

Did about 140 tailoring combines last night. Went from 182 to 192. I was pleasantly surprised

I remember doing skillups the day after the last patch also and I got a good skillup session. Maybe the servers being reset satisfies the RNG? ROFL
