Recipe List Gone?

Hello All,

I've poked about a bit but haven't seen a post addressing this, forgive me
if a solution has already been put up.

Has anyone logged after the server merges to find that all their saved/learnt recipes have disappeared when they open up their tradeskill interface? I have read on other boards how to revive your pre-server merge UI and traders, etc., but nothing on how this may solve the missing recipe problem. Will simply restoring your UI do the trick for the recipes as well? (I didn't think that stuff was stored client-side as per another thread in this forum.)

I had no problem...

When Brell merged with Cazic, I went and changed all of my .ini files from .brell.ini to .cazic.ini, and all of my receipe favorites where available.

Most people fix the files in the EQ folder, but forget the userdata folder.

In your EQ folder, go into the userdata folder, and you'll find file(s) named something like TSFav_Namira_brell.txt. Change them to something like TSFav_Namira_cazik.txt to match your new server, and you'll have your favorites back.

You might see some other files in the userdata directory that you want to fix too, like journal entries or barter info.

Btw, whether you change your files or not, your learned recipes are still learned. Only your favorites are missing (until you rename the right file). Favorites can also be manually restored by searching for the recipes and adding them to favorites.

I spent 30 mins yesterday redoing my UI since the merger and actually like it better than my old setup lol. But if there are favorite files I can rename that's great, I'm on to it when I get home!
