  • since they are makeing changes.....

since it appears they are tweaking with the don armor some, what would YOU like to see changed??

    my suggestion
    1) knock off 5 levels from the Recomended/required (ie master 50/55, grandmaster 60/65)

    2) i would like to see the augs changed, take about 1/2 the stuff off the augs and slap it on the armor, makeing the augs a very useful component, but not mandatory, as it stands, for most folks, the armor is useless with out the augs, the augments should be a useful upgrade, but keep the effects on the augs

I would like to see 5-10hp added to each Grandmaster's piece, either on the armor itself or on the augment. Right now, the armors are too close to the OoW tier 1 quest armors.

I don't know much about the non-GM sets, so I can't discuss those.

I believe the whole idea is that the augs are supposed to be a part of the armor. I suspect that the only reason they were kept as separate as they are was to allow for maximum flexibility with diety combinations. Rather than each race having completely separate lines of armor for each diety they can worship, as in the old system, the augs allow just one line of armor to be diety restricted for everyone of that race. I see the augmenting as the final step that adds the diety's powerful influence.

Moving more of the stats to the armor and off the aug would make the augs seem optional, which I don't think is the idea.

The hp/mana and maybe resists should be bumped up a notch on the GM armors. The drops are not at all common, the quests for the GM aug patterns are hard and the combine trivials are scarey. For all that effort the pieces could be a little better.
