  • When do I go from here?

Okay, I'm currently level 51 with no AA points, and I have the following skills.

    Baking 300
    Blacksmithing 189
    Brewing 200
    Fletching 200
    Jewelcraft 192
    Pottery 188
    Tailoring 165

It occured to me that I might want to put the tradeskilling on hold if they're going to improve the skillup rate between 160 and 190. In my situation, would you keep grinding Blacksmithing, Jewelcraft, Pottery, and Tailoring to 200 or just wait to see what the new changes will bring?

Personally unless you're rich and will be getting AAs, max out all the ones except tailoring to 200. Then when the patch hits tailoring will be easier to skillup than what it is now.

tnexus, how/why will tailoring be easier to skill up? or are you talking about just the 165-200 range?

Here's an update. Jewelcraft is now 200, and Pottery is 189 (lousy 1 skillup out of 57 attempts.) I'm going to have to get my ranger alt into more LDoN adventures so I can forage temper components for smithing before I raise that one. I don't know about any other servers, but it's extremely rare to find the temper components for sale on mine.

When you are looking for the LDoN temper component, are you checking the magus in each adventure camp regularly or just the bazaar? While I found these were rarely for sale in the bazaar on my server, I would up getting all I needed just through regular trips to all the adventure camps, especially in the week after a patch.

I think my total haul from checking the Magus at each camp is a total of four sand verbena. If anyone's actually selling them there, they don't last long.

You'd be better thinking about farming the spiders in Velketor's Labyrinth for velium and making Enchanted Velium Bits in Thurg rather than hold out for LDoN temper components. Just not enough people doing LDoN's on most servers these days.
