Sounds like a really good idea..

Just a thought.. Maybe you could make the thing Sonic Bane enabled? On top of my head it's the only quest that requires the help of a couple of other classes.. The Vah Shir who are willing to help you out with this are always really really hard to find, and I ended up making a whole group of Vah Shir with my friends and just taking it all on ourselves.

A little checkbox option to see if this character is able/willing to complete Sonic Bane parts might just speed up the process for others immensely.

You'll be able to search by class and race, so finding a Vah Shar {rogue, warrior, bard, etc} shouldn't be too difficult.

*nods* It's still a long shot from finding people who actually did all the quests leading up to the Sonic Bane combine though.. It's not something someone will just do for a random stranger easily.

But either way, it was just a suggestion.

            Tinkering system

The tinkering compendium search gives you the option to search by server, OR skill... as a database-head myself, I believe you could easily make it do both? Bit pointless to know who is 250 in a skill if they're not on your server.
            Tailoring - 250 (Zillia 225)
            Brewing - 250 (Zillia 250)
            Baking - 250 (Zillia 250)
            Blacksmithing - 218 (Zillia 225)
            Fishing - 200
            Fletching - 200 (Zillia 235)
            Pottery - 198 (Zillia 227)
            Jewelcraft - 195 (Zillia 250)
            Thread-killing - 250

Hmm, a /who all >tradeskill< would be a great idea, as long as a /anon tradeskill command was added.

I wouldn't want to be bugged while in Rathe hunting HG's that someone wants a basic archery set.

What about tradeskill channels? (I don't know if they exist)..

Well, some information can be found on www.guildmagic.com

Its a good resource for looking that up, as long as people keep it current.

My understanding is that Kredal is setting it up so you could find a lvl 44 gnome warrior on E'ci with a skill of 243 in tinkering who is agnostic. *grin* Hon, correct me if I'm wrong - but that was the whole point.

And as for the "when?" I guess it all depends when I get the forms and design done. *giggle* Pester me.

And yes, we get the "OMG HOW DO I DO SMITHING TO 250 TODAYLOLOLOL" people.

And starting today, we have an excuse to be ruthless if they refuse to check the website....

who was capable of what imbues and who is willing to make which vials of mana
I'd have to say that while I might be willing to list my skills publicly, I would *not* list that I can imbue emeralds. Inevitably when someone asks if I can do it, they always hand be a stack. I know that mana is free, but 10-15 minutes of med time from completely exhausting my mana bar and then some is never worth the few plat they offer for the service. (stack takes 4000 mana, I currently have 2200)

I didn't mean that so much as a misplaced rant, it was more to explain why some people would never list services like that.

See the various posts in the Xegony Marketplace Forum for an idea I took and ran with.

It's an entirely "opt-in" list. If someone wants to be listed, they post and I add them and their skill(s).
