Merging servers MOTD

THIS IS FOR THE SERVERS MERGING-

For those who perhaps don't log in very often, the EQ MOTD now states that you must remove all items and coin from your shared bank as it will not be moved to the merged server.

So make sure that you get your shared bankspace/coin slots emptied onto a character before the merge.

All is well... my (and probably therefore TheWife's) shared bank space is intact. (We'd have lost EVERYTHING. All our tradeable/bazaar fodder and cash as we emptied out unused characters in a general housecleaning.)

I went back and checked the original message on the EQLive site. It originally said "if you have shared bank space used on both servers clean one of them out before the merge" ... So since TheWife and I -never- had characters on Sol Ro we ignored that bit as not applicable to us.

Hopefully no one got burned by this...

I recently was merged from Kane Bayle to Antonious Bayle.

The original message did indeed say "if you have shared bank space used on both servers clean one of them out before the merge" and I took it at face value as I did not have time to log on to move anything.

I only had characters on Kane Bayle, none on Antonious, and did not lose anything in either shared bank space or plat.

Yay me =)
