  • /who all fletching 250

I tried doing a search and didn't see an idea like this:

Ever since PoP came out I have been spending half my time on tradeskills. I am always happy to hire myself out to do combines for other people but I hate spamming the bazaar with advertisements.

It would be neat if somebody looking for tradeskill help could just do a:

    /who all fletching 250

The feature would need an /anontrade command to so people on raids or otherwise busy wouldn't be bothered. The /anontrade could be set to on by default.

I can't imagine this being any harder for the developers than the already in place /who all cleric 56 command.

I tried submitting this to the Dev corner but I think the form is broke.

    I like that idea .

Glad you already thought of default being anon, hehe.

It would definately need a range, if you need an item that trivials at 180 for instance, you could do:

    '/who all tailor 190 250'

Just because you would likely get a better price from the guy at 190, and he has the same chance of failing as the GM .

I'll second the idea as a good one.

It would be nice to get a customer or two during those long skillup sessions that can get kind of boring.

I have thought of this many times, but I dismissed this as a pipe dream.

Would be nice.... But I would get VERY annonyed with:

"I NOTIS UR 190... WUT SHULD I DO FROM 10-190? LOL"

So I would probably be anon very often.

Aside from that, One potential problem is that you would need to either list ALL of your trades, or be anon for all of them. It would be nice to JUST list certian skills.

Also, displaying the results would have to be very concise, or very Lengthy

Noishpa Lastname - Level 36 Druid - Halfling - Guild Name - Baking 250, Brewing 150..... (And so on)

        or just

The other thing is that it can't tell if you have other characters of a certain skill level you'd be willing to log on for combines.
If someone asks in the tradeskill channel, I can always say I have an x-skiller of y skill and can log her on at z time.

I think its a lag resource issue, kind of like why they did not want to put /who somezone.

They could add all the /whos that players wanted, but then people would be /whoing a lot more than now and the server would constantly be doing searches.

The jest of what they said about /who zone was that it would drain resources while having a pretty limited use, this is similar. Being able to /trade anon it would even make it more limited use, so they'd likely not bother anyway.
