Well doing a pattern combine yesterday my A Quill was returned as Quill (the one they took out) after my book rotted away.

Absor needs to adjust that last recipe for when things are returned due to the book falling apart since I believe they have it coded wrong after they changed the Quill to A Quill.

When I opened up my tailoring/pattern kit last night, the "Quill" (new oddball item) inside had been replaced with "A Quill" (stackable research item).

Chenori Berinal in the basement of the Felwithe Paladin's Guild also now stocks the "A Quill" in place of the "Quill".

I too had A Quill returned after the combine but my book was returned.

Sounds like you are one of the first to find the books limit for use Muana. Everyone has been expecting to find the books rotting after a specific period and my gut feel is that it will be some factor of five (5, 10, 15, etc). Any thoughts on how many uses you got out of the book before it rotted?

The ancestral (pattern) books rot after 10 uses. The symbol books have not yet been reported to rot, that I'm aware of.
