    Having vented my irritation a little about the "whiners" (sorry) in the Primal Scream forum, I thought maybe I should try to be a little more constructive here.

    If, as seems possible, the changes to the tailoring trivials went in earlier than planned and that there will possibly be new tailoring recipes in the future, and also that some high trivials in other tradeskills may drop (MTPs, sickles, champagne, spirit of sloth, gem studded chain spring to mind), do we have any suggestions for what should be done?

    There is no point saying what SHOULD have been done (trivial changes at the same time as the increase in skill cap for example), unless someone has a time machine :P

    Possibilities that I can see:

    Do nothing (seems a likely one).

    Temporarily return the trivials to their old level. I guess this would be good for those who have a stockpile of components (like me), but I imagine it would have a disasterous effect on the market. Spider silks for 1000pp a stack...? Queues for the beach in Cobalt Scar? (Get there early and put your towel down). Genocide in Crystal Caverns?

    Reset everyone with a high trade skill back to 250 and lower all the trivials at the same time. Ouch! Not really going to happen.

    Increase the buy back for velious components, gem studded chains etc. so that at least there is some compensation. Hmmm, sounds complicated and not very likely.

    Ensure that new recipes are introduced which use the old recipes as sub combines. E.g Super Duper Solstice Robe taking 1 Solstice Robe 1 Slugworm Acid and a Shattered Emerald of Corruption (only kidding).

    Any other suggestions?

    I think folks would weather queues in Cobalt Scar and a brief spike in the bazaar pricing of tailoring supplies better than this unnanounced change.

    Please set the changes back until the whole plan is ready, or at least a week or two.
