TLC Effects on DoN quests...

Not sure what other servers have Trivial Loot Code, but on Firiona Vie, it makes it impossible to complete at least the Journeymans task.

I realize I could just skill up and move on to the Experts, but I would like to be able to work at the Journeymans level, and use it to skill up.

I would assume TLC effects all of the levels in some way.

Specifically, for the Human Journeyman book, I cannot loot the required lightstone. Seems like these would be something easy to fix, and I am sure the populations living with the Trivial Loot Code would be very happy for the fix.

I believe that the TLC also effects the Ancestral book, so without it, we cannot make the basic molds we require for our work.

Lightstones are no NO DROP.

If the task requires you to loot the lightstone, does it require you to loot it from a particular mob or in a particular zone? If not, the charm trick might work.

I think the problem isn't that they're 'no drop', but that they're trivial. It's a real pain on FV to hunt lots of items because of this. Like getting various shawl pieces, etc. If the mob is green to you, certain items (like glowing wurm bile or siren hairs) don't even show up in the loot window, and you get the message that "such and such was trivial to you," or something like that...Sorry if I misunderstood your post. I remember it being funny that I had to go into raid mode with someone who was AFK just so I could get some silly shawl pieces...

Yeah, I think the raid work around is still live. They never did fix it. Get someone of the appropriate level to go with you in raid mode (different groups if I remember correctly, but in a raid together). If someone in the raid is of the right level, it won't go trivial loot on you.
